Miss South Pacific Pageant

 Below is a letter from the Secretary General of the PNG Red Cross Society

 Dear All,

The Miss South Pacific Pageant (MSPP) is coming to PNG, with our very own Miss Papua New Guinea, Miss Rachel Sapery James, proudly representing PNG at this Pageant. This inaugural event will be held in Port Moresby from the 21^st – 27^th November 2010.

In our bid to prepare Miss PNG for the MSPP, we invite you to “Miss PNG Zumba fitness Party” happening on Saturday 6^th November 2010 from 3pm- 4pm at the Sir John Guise Indoor Complex.  This Zumba fitness party will be coordinator by Mila Nash of McNash Fitness and First Aid will be provided by PNG Red Cross First Aid Volunteers.

There will be prizes for the best outfit, best dancer, fittest looking and performing participants so come along and support Miss PNG. The tickets are selling at K20.00 adults and K15.00 for kids below the age of 12 . You can purchase the ticket at the front desk on that day. Miss PNG is supported by Team PNG in her participation at this Pageant, and Team PNG receives no funding from MSPP. Your Support will go toward preparing Miss PNG with all the necessary resources she will require, ranging from her traditionally inspired wardrobe & accessories, hair & make-up, administrative costs, Research Topics, Health & Fitness Programs, her travel to outer Provinces to raise much needed funds to contest this Pageant along side (15) other contestants from neighbouring Pacific Island countries including Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Cook Islands, Tahiti, Samoa, American Samoa, New Zealand and Hawaiian Islands to name a few.  

As the host country in 2010, it is our endeavour to ensure that Miss PNG is well equipped to perform exceptionally well at this pageant. On behalf of Miss PNG we look forward to your participation at this fitness and fun day. We also appreciate if you can pass this message on to your network to spread the word of this event.
